Ukraine Charity Heart Pin – Choose Love Appeal

Supporting the Choose Love urgent fundraising appeal to support the Ukrainian people.

Each pin is handcrafted from polymer clay in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. Backed with a brass pin and butterfly clutch.

Minimum donation is £3.00 per pin, however there is the option to donate more if you are able to.

P&P is £1.00 per pin order to cover postage costs.

The last time I travelled abroad was to Ukraine in 2019, just months before the start of the pandemic. It was such a fascinating place, evident of its recovery from the tragedy of Chernobyl in the 1980’s and establishing it’s identity and independence after the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.

Seeing the devastation in places I recognise on the news this week is beyond words. The images and clips of ordinary people like you and I leaving their love ones whom they may never see again are utterly heart breaking.

In Exeter today there was a vigil, I wasn’t able to attend as my little one was unwell. I am so fortunate and grateful to be able to give her a warm, safe environment to ease her symptoms. To be able to provide her with medicine to make her feel better. Knowing we will all be in our own beds tonight in a house together as a family just because we happen to live in a country that is not being invaded. This is a security that the people of Ukraine and the brave Russians demonstrating to protest, risking their safety in doing so do not have.

I stand with Ukraine and have made some pin badges to show solidarity whilst raising funds for @chooselove urgent appeal.
