Silver Elephant Blog

Silver Elephant Studio has been open for orders for just over a month now and what a busy time that has been! It’s been so awesome to have such great support and interest in my little business. I have loved making and sending out orders and for customers to make repeat orders for their friends after they have received theirs is just amazing!

It’s still very early days with the business  and I still have lots to do and ideas to explore which is all very exciting. However, as this is currently my side hustle and not my main job (yet!!) I’m having to prioritise some tasks over others where time allows. I’m happy with the progress and know it will take time to get going, you can help by interacting with my online posts give it a like, love or leave a comment it can really help. On my bench at the moment I am completing an order for 3 pendants as a commission for bridesmaids gifts. I’m designing another commision for for a special necklace gift, also finishing touches to the imprint keyrings made from copper or bronze which will hopefully be available from the end of the week.

When you support a small buisness you’re supporting a dream

The little ones and I finally got round to seeing Toy Story 4 this weekend, we’re big fans! Well I say ‘we’ I am and the children didnt have much choice! It’s a franchise I have loved from its very beginning and grown up with. Toy story 2 was the first I saw in the cinema as a teenager and remember taking my younger brother and sister along. I watched Toy Story 3 whilst pregnant with my first child (still can’t watch without getting a tear in my eye!), now Toy story 4 with both my children and it didn’t disappoint! Loved it.
